These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ElecComply Ltd website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

Our Services

ElecComply Ltd provides electrical compliance and safety services, including but not limited to:

• Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
• Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
• Fire Alarm Testing
• Emergency Lighting Testing (EML)
• Reactive Maintenance
• Emergency Call-Outs

Bookings and Payments

Booking Process

• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
• You must provide accurate property and contact information
• We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion
• Booking confirmations will be sent via email

Pricing and Payment

• All prices are quoted in GBP and include VAT unless stated otherwise
• Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed
• We accept payment via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other agreed methods
• Additional charges may apply for emergency call-outs or out-of-hours services
• Prices are subject to change without notice

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee
• No-shows will be charged the full service fee
• We reserve the right to cancel appointments due to unforeseen circumstances

Refund Policy

• Refunds are issued at our discretion
• Services completed to NICEIC standards are non-refundable
• Refund requests must be made within 14 days of service completion
• Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval

Property Access and Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide safe and unobstructed access to all areas requiring inspection or testing
• Ensure the property is safe for our engineers to work in
• Inform us of any known hazards or special requirements
• Be present or arrange for authorized access during the appointment
• Secure any pets that may interfere with the work

Warranties and Liability

Service Warranty

We warrant that:

• All work will be carried out by NICEIC approved engineers
• Services will be performed to current industry standards and regulations
• Certificates issued will be accurate and compliant

Limitation of Liability

• We are not liable for pre-existing faults or defects discovered during inspection
• Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided
• We are not responsible for consequential losses or damages
• We maintain professional indemnity insurance as required by law

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of ElecComply Ltd and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any unlawful purpose
• Provide false or misleading information
• Interfere with the proper functioning of our website
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Harass, abuse, or harm our staff or engineers

Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing and warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

Complaints Procedure

If you are dissatisfied with our services:

• Contact us within 7 days of service completion
• Provide details of your complaint in writing
• We will investigate and respond within 14 business days
• If unresolved, you may escalate to NICEIC or relevant regulatory body

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
